I'm in Mexico!! lol, it's so different here, i'm definitely not ready
for this, lol. But it's definitely growing on me. :) I just love
everything here, it's all so different and new.
i'm sending some photos so you can see some of the awesomeness here :)
I don't even know where to start really, but i guess the beginning
would be wise, I arrived safely in mexico just fine. spent saturday
and sunday getting a bunch of new training and some specific things
for our mission. ugh being inside for so lang gave me the worst
migraine ever, i barely got any sleep last night, bleh, but that's
okay, once i got out and about, it went away pretty quick and i'm all
good now. i think part of it was some left over jet lag. anways,
training, one really crazy thing about the mexico missions, if they
don't commit to a baptismal date on the first or second visits,we drop
them because they aren't going to commit to anything if not that. So
things here should move really fast. our goal each week for our zone
is 50 baptisms, so there's a lot of work to do. :)
Well, what to really talk about, I haven't done a whole ton yet
besides travel pack and unpack at my new house. it'll be my house for
the next three months, so it's pretty
exciting to finally get here. i understand a little bit of the
language here and there, but not a whole ton, and even the stuff i
should recognize, doesn't get into my head as
fast as they speak it. but that will come with time and practice. I'm
my trainers first trainee, or son so to speak, and him being my
father, it's pretty cool that i get to be
the firstborn here too. once again, i'm the guinea pig for trial and
error testing. :) i think i'll really enjoy it though, i already love
being here in mexico, which i'm sure will grow more, and be slightly
detracted from once i get to actually trying to teach lessons and
failing. :) lol we'll see though. it's pretty fun so far and i just
want to keep it going.
That story is awesome, hopefully i don't have any companions that i
have a really hard time with, but it's probably bound to happen and
i'll just have to learn to deal with it.
oh duh, lol my trainer, elder templin, i sent a picture, we're here on
the computers now. lol he really seems like an awesome guy and i'm
excited to get to work with him. we have district meeting tonight, so
i'm not sure how much teaching we'll actually get in tonight, but
tomorrow is time to hit the ground running . almost literally :)
well dear parents and family, i have to get around to some missionary stuff,
i'll do better this week at remembering all the cool spiritual
experiences and fun stuff i do so i can tell you all about it
Love you all so so much :)
i'll talk to you soon
